The projects will be updated as more information becomes available.

North Washington Street Sidewalk Reconstruction Project

The Department of Public Works has contracted with Gravity Construction Company for the replacement of concrete sidewalks on both sides of North Washington Street from Fisher St. to East Washington St. (Route 1) and Park Street. The Contractor will begin this project this fall and complete it in the spring.  This project is funded through the State’s MassWorks Grant program.  As part of this project, the Downtown Pedestrian lights will also be replaced next spring with new bases, posts and LED pedestrian lamps. Water Main Replacement Project

C. Naughton Corp, a Contractor for the Town, will begin a water main replacement project on Orne Street in early April. Once completed, the Contractor will begin work on Paine Road and Cushman Road.  This project is expected to take 3-4 months to complete.

Roadway Projects

The Town is currently working to receive funding to complete a number of roadway projects.  Several projects have had infrastructure work completed and some are waiting to have projects completed so the road surface will not be damaged later.

The North Attlebrough DPW will begin paving operations on July 13, 2023. T. Miozzi, a contractor for the Town, will begin work milling and overlaying Lindsey St and Mansfield Road from July 13th through July 20th and will continue paving operations through the fall.  Some roads with recent infrastructure work must wait 90 days before surface restoration can begin.

Area residents will be notified via the Town’s Code Red Notification System. Please make sure to sign up so notifications will not be missed.  Residents are asked to proceed with caution during the construction work and expect delays.  We appreciate your patience.
