Town Manager Michael Borg would like to invite community members to attend a kick-off event for his new community engagement series, “Community Conversations,” this Thursday.
Thursday, Feb. 8 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Habibi’s Middle Eastern Kitchen, 11 S Washington St.
Community members are invited to participate in discussions with town officials over light refreshments at Habibi’s as part of the first installment of North Attleborough’s new “Community Conversations” series.
On Thursday, Town Manager Borg will be joined by Director of Public Works Mark Hollowell and Fire Chief Christopher Coleman to discuss flooding, drainage and the Ten Mile River. Those looking to discuss these topics with town officials are encouraged to attend, however, discussions on all town-related matters are welcomed.
“We are eager to kick off our ‘Community Conversations’ series as it will serve as an additional means to enhance dialogue between town officials and community members,” Town Manager Borg said. “We encourage our community members to come, ask questions, voice their concerns and share their feedback while visiting local businesses.”
The series will include monthly events hosted by Town Manager Borg at different businesses throughout North Attleborough with some meetings featuring special guests to talk about different topics.
If there’s a business you’d like to see an event be hosted at or a town official you would like to speak to at one of these events, please let us know at 508-699-0100.
