1. Can you recycle your old recycling bin?

Yes, you can. But you will need to bring it to the Recycling Center at 777 Mount Hope Street. Hours of operation are: Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 8 am to 2:30 pm Please ask the attendant where to put your bin.

2. How do I obtain a Recycling Center Sticker?

To be eligible for a Recycling Center Sticker, your annual trash bill must be paid in full.

Recycling Center Stickers are available at the Solid Waste Department in Town Hall or by Mail.

Town Hall:

• You must bring in your current valid Massachusetts Vehicle Registration (Residential Only) or a copy of it.

By Mail:

• Mail a copy of your current valid Massachusetts Vehicle Registration (Residential Only) to the Solid Waste Department, 43 South Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760. Include a stamped self-addressed envelope so we can mail a sticker to you.
• Stickers cannot be transferred between vehicles. 

3. Purchasing a New Vehicle?

If you are going to purchase a new vehicle and want the sticker to go on the new vehicle, you need to scrape your old sticker from the window and bring however much you can get off with your new registration to our Office in Town Hall and we will issue you a free replacement.

Without the scraped sticker, a replacement will cost $5.

4. I have a second vehicle, can I get another sticker?

Stickers for each additional vehicle or to replace a lost sticker will cost $5.

5. I have a large item and it cannot fit in my vehicle that has the sticker. What do I do?

Participating residents may purchase a one Day Pass for the Recycling Center at the Solid Waste Department in Town Hall. The fee for a Day Pass is $5 and we only accept cash or checks.

A Day Pass would be used if you needed to borrow a vehicle or rent a U-Haul because you have larger items that don't fit in your vehicle that has the Recycling Center Sticker on it.

In order to be eligible for a Day Pass, you must have the following:

• The annual trash bill is paid in full.
• A copy or the actual registration of the vehicle you are borrowing.
• The vehicle must have Massachusetts license plates and cannot be a commercial vehicle or have signage on it.
• If renting a U-Haul, you do not need the registration, you just inform us in the office when getting the Day Pass that you are renting a U-Haul.
• You pay $5 cash or check for the Day Pass.

The Day Pass must be presented to the attendant at the Recycling Center and you may enter the Recycling Center as many times as you want for that day. The Pass must be turned in by the expiration date on the Pass.
