This highest point in Bristol County is located on Watery Hill. The park is equipped with numerous picnic areas, a ski slope, a playground, an open field for sports, a sledding hill, a petting zoo, a "beach area", a beautiful overview and a Frisbee Golf path. The park is open year-round from dawn to dusk. The World War I Park was also once named Woodland Park was in the memory of World War I veterans. Parts of the park are also dedicated to Julie Cekala who died on May 23, 2003. She fought through her health conditions with her strength and joy, so the Julia Cekala foundation had the park dedicated because she used to love playing in the park. So in 2007, Julia's Garden was made from a fundraiser through the Racing For Julia Butterfly 5k race. Julia's Garden is located inside WWI Park. Julia's Garden also has a wonderful playground, grass areas, benches, and much, much more! Petti Field is located in the rear of WWI Park.
