The Town of North Attleborough, Awarding Authority, invites General Contractor sealed bids for the Richards Memorial Library Renovations, 118 N. Washington Street, North Attleborough, MA, in accordance with documents prepared by J.M. Booth and Associates.

Work includes upgrades to fully occupied historic town library: exterior envelope masonry & slate restoration; structural, mechanical, electrical upgrades; fire alarm replacement; window repair; accessibility improvements. Estimated construction cost is $2.7M, to be completed by September 2024.

General Bids to be submitted electronically at www.biddocs.com, received no later than Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 10:00am and publicly opened forthwith, online by Owner’s Project Manager; Filed Sub-Bids were previously received/retained. General Contractor must be DCAMM Certified in Historical Building Restoration. 

Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a Bid Bond, Cash, or Certified Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price.
