Governor Baker's Executive Order

March 12, 2020

The Conservation Commission will be conducting its meetings remotely, consistent with Governor Baker’s Executive Order of March 12, 2020, due to the current State of Emergency in the Commonwealth due to the outbreak of COVID-19.  The Order suspends the requirement of the Open Meeting Law and allows public bodies to meet entirely remotely in order to mitigate the transmission of the virus.

In accordance with the Order, reasonable public access will be afforded so that the public can follow along with the deliberations of the Commission's meetings. Ensuring public access does not ensure public participation unless such participation is required by law. The hearing and meeting items on the Commission's agenda will feature public comment as applicable.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
