SMOKE DETECTOR/CARBON MONOXIDE INSPECTIONS

COVID-19 RE-INSPECTIONS

COVID-19 has impacted the North Attleboro Fire Department in many ways. Our business office had to close and inspections postponed. All of these actions were necessary to ensure that our staff and the public we interact with remained healthy.

Effective July 13, 2020 we will be re-starting our Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Inspections. We ask for your patience as we have over 70 Inspections to complete. Any resident who has a Smoke Detector/Carbon Monoxide Inspection which was deferred due to the COVID-19 Virus please log into the online permitting, Viewpoint at www.nattleboro.com/fire (http://www.nattleboro.com/fire) and review your request.

All pending requests have been processed and are being scheduled. There are numerous inspections and it is critical that you are home at the designated time for the inspection. These inspections are being scheduled for the week of July 14, 2020 and should be completed by July 17, 2020.

If you have a conflict and cannot make the inspection please call the Executive Assistant to The Fire Chief at 1-508-699-0140 ext. 5603 to reschedule. As always any questions or concerns can be directed to the Fire Prevention Captain at 1-508-699-0140 ext. 5617.
