A Virtual Design Public Hearing will be hosted on the MassDOT website to present the design for the proposed Bridge Replacement Project for Mendon Road over Abbott Run River on Tuesday, March 10, at 7PM.

The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments submitted in response to the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible. The proposed project consists of replacing existing Bridge No. N-16-004 (3JU) located on Mendon Road, south of the intersection with Depot Street, spanning Abbott Run River with a replacement bridge structure in the Town of North Attleborough, MA. The project includes enhanced pedestrian and bicyclist facilities
The project includes bridge replacement, full-depth pavement construction, roadway resurfacing, the inclusion of complete street elements including ADA accessibility, pedestrian curb ramps and sidewalks and wide shoulders for bicycle accommodations, improved signage, and associated drainage and utility adjustments. Any work on the minor streets will be limited to similar approach work.
