Parking Ban Remains in Effect; Travel Ban in Effect
A parking ban is in effect until further notice. During this time, parking on public roads is prohibited. Violators may be ticketed and/or towed. Vehicles may be temporarily parked at the Church Street, Community School, and Woodcock parking lots, but must be removed immediately once the ban is lifted. An additional alert will be issued when the parking ban is lifted.
Governor Healey has issued a Travel Ban for Bristol County effective immediately. All non-essential motor vehicle travel in Bristol, Plymouth, and Barnstable counties is prohibited until further notice due to the blizzard and dangerous road conditions. The travel ban will be lifted when Highway Administrator Jonathan Gulliver determines conditions are safe.
Snow Removal Operations
DPW crews are actively working to clear main roads and sidewalks. Please also be mindful of active plows. As crews push snow off the streets, snow may be deposited at the end of driveways. If you plan to shovel, be aware that additional snow could be moved into your driveway as plowing continues.
Power Outages
The North Attleborough Electric Department (NAED) is actively monitoring the storm and any power outages. To report an outage, call 508-643-6300.
NAED has also launched its beta outage map to help residents track outages in town. Please note that the map is not yet finalized and is still a work in progress; however, it has been released early to assist the community. Access the map here: https://naelectric.datacapable.com/
Please avoid driving on the roads to facilitate snow removal. An additional alert will be sent once the ban is lifted. Thank you for your cooperation.
