Beaches Reopening Plan Summer 2020
The Barbara Road beach and boat ramp will tentatively open on July 1st subject to restrictions. Please see attached policy as adopted by the Commission to address COVID-19 and the Commonwealth's Safety Standards for Inland Beaches-Phase II. Please note Barbara Rd beach is now restricted to North Attleboro residents only. The boat ramp remains open to MA residents. The town is partnering with the YMCA again this summer who will be staffing the beach with lifeguards and gate attendants.

Animal Shelter available by appointment only (June 18, 2020)
Due to social distancing measures, the shelter is open by appointment only.
Potential adopters need to submit an application before an appointment can be arranged. The application form can be found on the Town’s Animal Shelter webpage or it can be picked up at the shelter. Most of our adoptable animals are posted on the shelter webpage.
We are currently closed on Wednesday evenings until further notice.
The shelter is accepting donations daily between 7a.m. - 3 p.m. Donations can be left outside the building.
Recycling Center available by Appointment Only (June 9, 2020)
The Recycling Center is available by appointment only for all items on Monday, Friday and Saturday. Please call the Recycling Center to schedule an appointment for the site.
Town Hall Open by Appointment Only (June 2, 2020)
The Town of North Attleboro is now open to the public by appointment only. As we continue to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, we would like to let everyone know that we are open via appointment. We encourage our residents to maximize the use of our online services when possible. Still, we understand the need to conduct daily business operations in an environment that is safe for the community and our dedicated employees. Masks are required when entering into Town facilities, and you will be required to sign into a visitor’s log at the department you are seeing. We are taking every precaution to minimize the risk of spread when constitutes come to Town Hall. Please contact the department directly that you are interested in seeing and schedule an appointment for service.
FIRE DEPARTMENT REOPENING ANNOUNCEMENT (May 28, 2020)

As we continue to work through the COVID-19 Pandemic the Fire Department is working towards a June 1, 2020 re-opening of our Business Office by Appointment Only. We are encouraging the use of our online permitting process which is available at www.nattleboro.com/fire.
Additionally, we are targeting a date of July 13, 2020 to re-start our inspections that have been placed on hold. Please refer to the guidelines posted.
North Attleboro Park & Recreation Facilitates Update (May 23, 2020)
All Parks are now open for passive recreation (walking and hiking). The parking lots at WWI Park and Mason Field are now open. We ask that people please follow the one way road direction of the traffic loops to maintain social distances and avoid passing one another.
Zoo and playgrounds are still closed at this time to ensure the safety of all.
We ask that you please leave signs and caution tape in place for the safety of the community.
