Due to the excessive heat and water use, the North Attleborough Water Division is implementing an immediate ban on all non-essential water use, including outdoor watering. Excessive water use causes water tank levels to drop, impeding fire fighting due to low pressure.
Please refrain from any non-essential water use, including outdoor watering, washing vehicles, and washing exterior surfaces such as buildings and parking lots. If you have an irrigation system, please make sure that it is turned off and not set on a timer.
This full non-essential (outdoor) watering ban will be in place until 7 p.m. Thursday, July 31st. We appreciate your cooperation and responsibility to your community.
