Nomination papers for the Annual Town Election, to be held on April 7, 2026, are officially available. Residents interested in running for a position on the Town ballot may obtain nomination papers from the Elections Office at Town Hall now through February 12, 2026.
To qualify, 25 certified signatures are required for nomination for town offices. Once certified, candidates’ names will appear on the April 7 ballot.
The following offices will be on the 2026 Town Election ballot:
• Board of Electric Commissioners – 1 seat, 3-year term
• Board of Public Works – 1 seat, 3-year term
• Park Commissioner – 2 seats, 3-year terms
• School Committee – 2 seats, 3-year terms
