Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Emergency Alert Program. This system allows your local emergency response team to deliver critical, time-sensitive information directly to you quickly and reliably. Alerts may include severe weather warnings, unexpected road closures, evacuation notices (building or neighborhood), boil water advisories, public safety alerts and more. 

You choose how you want to be contacted: by phone (home, mobile, or business), email, text message, or other means. You pick where and you pick how. 

How to Register

All community members are asked to create an account with Everbridge to receive emergency alert notifications. Community members who create an account will be able to manage their alerts and update contact information.

Residents can register on the Town's Everbridge page. Please note that when you visit the Member Portal, community members will have to click on "Sign Up" to begin creating their account.

Once on the webpage, community members will be asked to create an account:

• Create a Username and Password
• Usernames must be a minimum of 4 acceptable characters. Acceptable characters are: uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, period, dash (-), underscore (_), and at symbol (@). No other characters or symbols are permitted at this time.
• Password must be 8 to 64 characters long and contain at least one letter and one number. Special characters are permitted, but limited to !@#$%^&*(). Select a security question and enter its answer
• Enter a Registration Email Address. This address is used to send temporary passwords, if you forget your credentials.
• Accept the Terms of Use by checking the box
• Click “Create Your Account”

Once an account is created, you’ll be brought to a page where you can complete your profile. This is where you enter your personal information, including First Name, Last Name and Registration Email.  

Community members who sign up for Everbridge will receive alerts about various events, from severe weather, fires, floods, and other emergencies to more routine announcements, such as road closures and water utility maintenance.
