Stormwater Management Bylaw and Regulations

The North Attleborough Stormwater Management Bylaw, adopted by Town Council in March 2020, named the Conservation Commission and Board of Public Works as Stormwater Authorities. The Conservation Commission is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of Article III of the Bylaw (stormwater management and land disturbance) and recently adopted Regulations to provide further guidance for proponents of land disturbance projects. The purpose of the Stormwater Management and Land Disturbance Regulations is to protect, maintain and enhance public health, safety, environment, and general welfare by establishing minimum requirements and procedures to control the adverse effects of increased runoff, decreased groundwater recharge, erosion, sedimentation, nonpoint source pollution associated with new development, and redevelopment of land.

Please contact the Conservation Administrator with questions regarding the Bylaw or Regulations.

Additional materials will be uploaded as they become available.
