Tax Incentives

The Town of North Attleboro is willing to enter into Economic Development Incentive Agreements with companies who are relocating to town. These agreements must be approved by the State Department of Economic Development since the Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP) was created by them. North Attleboro's Economic Development Coordinator will assist companies in preparing these financing requests.

Small commercial entities may be eligible for property tax abatements if they meet the conditions specified under state law. See the Abatement: Small Commercial Exemption (PDF) to determine eligibility.

In addition, the Economic Development Coordinator will assist companies who are seeking state, federal, and privately sourced grants when they relocate into town. Please call the Economic Development Office at, 774-362-0701, for more information.

Currently, the property tax rates (per $K of assessed value) are $14.24 for residential properties, and $17.45 for commercial properties.
