The North Attleboro Emergency Management Team would like to share the following update on roads effected by today's storm:
Closed and Impassible:
- Hoppin Hill Avenue at Oak Knoll Drive
- East Street from Chestnut Street to Elm Street
- Cushman Road from Highland Meadow Drive to Mendon Road
- Reservoir Street at Edgewood Drive
- Old Post Road at Mt. Hope Street due to the bridge
- Chestnut Street from Route 1 East
Passable but with Restrictions
- One lane is closed near 66 Adamsdale Road due to a tree on wires
Reported Heavily Flooded Roads:
- Smith Street from Route 1 to Landry Avenue
- Route 1 at Elmwood Street
- South Washington from CVS to Chestnut Street
- North Washington from Center of Town to Achin's Garage
- Commonwealth Avenue near Freeman Street
- Allen Avenue in front of Station 3
- Route 1 at Jefferson Street
- Landry Avenue in front of the North Attleboro Electric Department
- Near 152 Landry Avenue
- Route 1at Cumberland Avenue
Community members are advised to not drive through flooded roads or near any downed wires.
