On Tuesday, November 14th, 2023, there will be planned network upgrades taking place for four hours, commencing at 4:00 PM and anticipated to conclude by 8:00 PM. During this time, the following services will be affected:
What will be affected:
Phone Calls: Locations will be unable to receive calls, but all incoming calls will route to voicemail if a voicemail box is available for that extension.
External Calls: External calls made from town locations will be limited, with the exception of emergency calls to 911, which will remain fully functional.
Wi-Fi and Internet Connectivity: Wi-Fi and internet connectivity will be unavailable at town locations.
What will NOT be affected:
Services at Townhall, Police, NAED, and NA Schools: All essential services provided by these facilities will continue to operate without interruption.
Public Safety Phone Lines: In case of emergencies, please use 911 for immediate assistance. For non-emergency police matters, you can contact the police dispatch at 508-695-1212.
The Town's Website: The Town's website, including online bill payments, Big Red 311 reporting, permitting, and other online services, will remain accessible.
Email Services: Email services will continue to function as usual, without disruption.
We understand the inconvenience these temporary disruptions may cause and apologize for any inconveniences. These planned upgrades are necessary to ensure the reliability and security of our network infrastructure.
Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate your cooperation during this period of improvement. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Information Technologies Department for assistance.
Stay connected with us and thank you for your continued support of the Town of North Attleboro.
