[ARCHIVED] Compost Center Reopens to North Attleborough Residents on Friday, April 4

The Compost Center on Plain Street will reopen on Friday, April 4, at 8:30 a.m. Please note that the center is exclusively for North Attleborough residents.

Composting Facility Hours (excluding holidays) are as follows:
🌳 Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
🌳 Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
🌳 Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Composting Facility is designated for the disposal of leaves, grass, and brush only. Residents may take home compost and wood chips (in 5-gallon buckets only) and are welcome to take any wood left by other residents or town operations. Please note that no machinery or chainsaws are permitted on the premises.

Building debris is strictly prohibited. Individuals leaving non-approved materials may be subject to fines of up to $300 and potential arrest. Additionally, no prepared (manufactured) wood products are allowed, as they may contain nails that can damage our equipment and require costly disposal by the town. Check out the Highway Department's webpage on nattleboro.com for more information about composting.
