[ARCHIVED] Richards Memorial Library Welcomes Author Anthony Amore for Fireside Chat Speaker Series

The Richards Memorial Library invites community members to attend the second installment of its Fireside Chat Without the Fire Speaker Series, featuring Anthony Amore, Director of Security and Chief Investigator at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and author of “The Rembrandt Heist.”

The event will take place on Friday, February 6, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Reading Room at Richards Memorial Library, located at 118 North Washington Street.

During the program, Mr. Amore will discuss his acclaimed book “The Rembrandt Heist” and share behind-the-scenes insights into his ongoing efforts to recover thirteen priceless works of art stolen from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in 1990. The book was recently named one of Smithsonian Magazine’s Ten Best History Books of 2025.

This program is free and open to the public, and no registration is required. Please note this is an after-hours event and regular library services will not be available during the program.

This event is generously funded by the Friends of the Richards Memorial Library.
