The North Attleboro Senior Center needs additional Meals on Wheels volunteers to deliver meals to frail elders in the community. Do you have 1 or 2 hours one day a week that you could assist us?
Volunteer drivers have an established weekly route leaving the Senior Center at 9:00 a.m. Most routes take about one hour to deliver to 10-15 seniors, some at Housing and many in their own homes. Volunteers must submit a CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information). Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles and must show proof of driver’s license and car insurance. All drivers are reimbursed for their mileage.
Currently we are looking for one more driver on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
